An applicable processing fees of Rs 199 will be charged by the Bank for availing the facility.

15. What will be the date of auto-debit?

The EMI amount will be auto-debited between 3^rd and 7^th of the month from the customer’s linked Savings or Current Account. Therefore, the customer has to maintain sufficient balance from 2^nd onwards.

1. If the transaction is done on or before the 15^th of the month, the first EMI will be charged between 3^rd and 7^th of next month.
2. If the transaction is done on or after 16^th of the month, then first EMI will be charged between 3^rd and 7^th of the next to next month (3^rd month).

Example: If a customer bought a product on 17 January, then his/her 1^st EMI will be auto-debited in March)

16. Am I allowed to change the EMI plan after placing the order?

EMI plans cannot be changed once an order is placed.

17. Do I need to pay any down payment to avail a Debit Card EMI?

No down payment is needed to avail a Debit Card EMI.

18. Can I foreclose EMIs with the 'Debit Card EMI' payment mode?

Yes, you can foreclose EMIs by contacting the Bank’s customer care number or you can visit your nearest branch. However, you will be charged an amount as per the policy for Cancellations, Refunds and Pre-closure.

19. Is the processing fee refundable after cancellation or foreclosure?

Processing fee is refundable only if the entire product/Loan amount is fully cancelled. Processing fee is not refundable in case of partial cancellation. For example, if the loan is booked for Rs 20,000 (consisting of 2 products of Rs 10,000 each) and you cancel only <1> product, the processing fee will not be refunded.

20. Will I receive an e-statement post a successful transaction?

E-statements will be generated every month and will be sent to your registered e-mail ID.

21. How do I open the e-statement?

For security reasons, the file is password protected. You will require an 8-character password to view your e-statement. For example, if your name is Rakesh Kumar and your Date of Birth is January 05, 1975, then your password will be rake0501.

22. I am unable to open the e-statement. What should I do?

The password is case-sensitive (lowercase). Please do not include any special characters, spaces or salutations. If you are still unable to open the document, please use password as <inst> followed by your date and month of birth in DDMM format. For example, if your Date of Birth is January 05, 1975, then your password will be inst0501.

23. What are the additional charges involved in Debit Card EMI?

Non-maintenance of sufficient balance on due date in your Savings Account will lead to levy of an Auto-debit Return fee + Late payment charges.
