  • 01. Submit Request Letter, Board Resolution and authorised documents at the Branch for a one-time registration to avail digital and paper-less FDOD facility.
  • 02. Post registration, select Tenure, OD Amount and FD Account
  • 03. Review and accept the Terms and Conditions
  • 04. Verify with Grid Card Values and OTP

What is Corporate Overdraft against Fixed Deposit (FDOD)?

Corporate Fixed Deposit is a very popular financial instrument. Ease of investment, guaranteed returns, flexibility, this deposit handles your short and long-term funding requirements while you earn interest. You can avail an Overdraft against your Fixed Deposit instead of breaking the deposit prematurely.

What is ODFD?

ODFD means Overdraft against Fixed Deposit, a fund-based facility where OD is given against a collateralised FD.

How can you avail OD against Corporate FD?

OD can be availed through both online (Corporate Internet Banking) and offline (Branch) modes. 

Who can avail Insta FDOD facility through Corporate Internet Banking (CIB)?

Insta FDOD facility is available for Corporate-Partnership firms, Companies, HUF and LLP through a one-time registration and workflow setup in Corporate Internet Banking (CIB).

What is the maximum amount of FDOD that can be availed through Corporate Internet Banking (CIB)? 

The maximum amount that can be availed from Insta FDOD is Rs 10 crores. The maximum number of FDs that can be paired to avail Overdraft is 7.

If the customer has more than 10 crores OD amount in their Account, can they place a request for FDOD through Corporate Internet banking (CIB)?

If the customer has more than 10 crores mapped to their Account Number, they have to avail Overdraft against Fixed Deposit through the offline mode by visiting Branch or with the help of their Relationship Manager.

If the customer has more than 7 FDs in their Account, can they place a request for FDOD through Corporate Internet Banking (CIB)?

If the customer has more than 7 FDs mapped to their Account Number, they have to avail Overdraft against Fixed Deposit through the offline mode by visiting Branch or with the help of their Relationship Manager.

How to authorise FDOD requests placed through Corporate Internet Banking?

Users are required to authenticate using Grid Card Values and OTP.

What is the maximum tenure for which Insta FDOD can be availed through Corporate Internet Banking (CIB)? 

The maximum tenure for which Insta FDOD can be availed is the tenure of the earliest maturing FD or 18 months, whichever is earlier.
