- You will receive an SMS with a unique 6-digit code on registered mobile number from ICICI Bank. 6-digit code will be valid for 6 hours hence step 3 needs to be completed at the earliest and not later than 6 hours.
Cash withdrawal from ICICI Bank ATM
- Please visit a specified ICICI Bank ATM and enter the following details:
- The registered mobile number
- The temporary 4-digit code which you have set.
- The 6-digit code (as received in SMS)
- Exact withdrawal amount
- Cash will be dispensed on successful authentication of all these parameters.
- The entire amount needs to be withdrawn as a one-time transaction.

- Log in to iMobile Pay> Select Services > Card Less Cash Withdrawal>at Local Shop
- Enter Amount, select debit account from which the amount is to be debited and set 4-digit temporary code
- Review and Confirm the details displayed in pre-confirmation screen and click on submit
- You will receive a success message over screen of transaction completion
- On successful request, click on the ‘nearby merchant’ link to look for 10 nearby merchants in your area. If you can have not allowed bank to access your location, you can do so only for a specific transaction.
SMS From ICICI Bank
- You will receive an SMS with a unique 6-digit code \ token number on registered mobile number from ICICI Bank. 6-digit code will be valid for 6 hours hence step 3 needs to be completed at the earliest and not later than 6 hours.
Cash Withdrawal From Local Shop
- Visit Nearby local shop and provide your mobile number, 4-digit temporary code (set by you while initiating the transaction), 6-digit reference code (received as an SMS from Bank),to the merchant for him to get the transaction confirmation from the bank.
- Post validation of successful authentication of all the parameters by Merchant, Merchant receives the amount of cash to be dispensed to you. He will dispense the cash as a one-time transaction.
- If there is any mismatch in the details entered, the Cash Withdrawal at Merchant transaction will be blocked after 3 unsuccessful attempts.

What happens when I do not receive the 6-digit code while doing cardless cash withdrawal transaction?
This occurs due to operator related network issues wherein the message gets failed while it is being delivered. In that case, it is advisable to cancel and re-initiate the transaction.

Whether Bank will debit my account when I will initiate my cardless cash withdrawal transaction on imobile pay?
No. Bank will not debit your account at a time of initiation of transaction on imobile pay. Bank debits your account only at a time of withdrawal of cash from Merchant.
What precautions I should take before leaving Local Shop while withdrawing cash?
- Remember to collect cash after getting successful debit transaction message
- Check that notes received are not soiled, damaged or counterfeit
- Remember to count the notes properly to confirm that you have received what you asked for
What happens when I do not receive the 6-digit code while doing cardless cash withdrawal transaction?

What if I don’t find the nearby Local shop.
The best part of this facility is if you don’t find the nearby merchant, you can withdraw cash from nearby ATM also.
What happens when my account gets debited with withdrawal amount, but merchant doesn’t receive the successful message.
This occurs due to operator related network issues wherein the message delivery fails while it is being transmitted to merchant. In that case, it is advisable to wait for some time at local shop, if he doesn’t receive message, this message gets auto reversed after 3 hours.
What happens when my account gets debited with withdrawal amount, but merchant could not hand over cash to you due to any reason.
In that case, merchant has to inform bank that he is not handing over cash to you on his portal itself, bank reverse the transaction and credits funds back to your account instantly.
